My Goals for the 2-3 year old
Potty-Training
This is the number one goal of this age group and I will work diligently to get your child through this.
Math Skills
While many people don't see it as 'math', learning shapes, doing puzzles, and making patterns are integral math skills for this age group. We start to remember our numbers and start to learn to write them.

Language Arts
Repetition of familiar songs helps your child remember things like the alphabet, nursery rhymes, and colors. I have no problem looking goofy singing in front of children. They love it.
At this age they start to recognize their own name and the letters in it. They start to learn to write their own names.
Reading daily helps your child gain literacy skills. We will read often and with enthusiasm. Children start to mimic and 'read' for themselves.
Fine/Large Motor Skills
Children at this age gain strenth in their hands by doing simple things such as playing with play-doh, fitting blocks together and coloring.
They learn to jump, throw a ball, and kick a ball. These skills get progressively better with practice and play.
