Who can't love Fancy Nancy?
In this edition, Nancy and her family are getting a dog. Nancy desires something 'fancy', like thier neighbor's papillon, Jewel.
Jewel turns out to be a little bit more fancy than Nancy's family can handle. He won't even play with the dogs of Nancy's friends when they come to visit.
Nancy returns Jewel to her neighbor after a day of dogsitting and doesn't know how to feel. She and her family walk past an animal shelter and decide to take a look.
Inside, they find the perfect dog for them. She is fancy, she is fun, she is big enough for her little sister to hug, and to top it all off, her name is Frenchy!
