First the Egg

Very simple book, but very cute.  Each page has a little cutout that uses the some of the art from the next page to make part of the picture.

Much more of a preschool book. Funny considering the winner, Hugo Cabret, is more uppper elementary.with it's 500-something pages.

This Book won the Caldecott Honor in 2008.
