My daughter has been in love with Angelina Ballerina for abour 2 years now. We found this one at the library and checked it out.
Angelina has been saving up her money to go to the annual fair with her friends. She is less-than-happy when her parents tell her that she is resposible for taking her little cousin Henry with her.
Angelina wants to go on all the fast scary rides and doesn't care what Henry thinks. She drags him along anyways. She loses him in the middle of the Haunted House and is very upset.
She finally realizes how she has treated Henry and is very upset. She finds him over by the balloons that he had been asking for earlier, but she was too busy to notice. She finally asks Henry what he would like to do.
They end up having a fun time together and Angelina says she will take Henry to the fair anytime.
I really like the way that Angelina is a faulty character. She makes mistakes, but always sees what she has done is wrong. To me, she lets my child know it's okay to make mistakes, but you should learn from them.
